Glee! for Friday and today

Five things about today (Friday) that made me happy
1. Fish and chips. Very yummy. It took me a while to find them. I lost my fish and chip shop, but I found one much closer to town, and pretty unlosable.
2. I didn't have to wear my coat today!
3. Shopping! I didn't have a pound coin for the trolley, which was probably just as well, because it meant that I could buy more than I could carry. It was a bit of a stretch to get it all the way home, but I am now well stocked. I bought a lot, most of it stuff that I wouldn't have to get in a regular run: wine, peppercorns, nutmeg, cinnamon, vinegar, oil. I also bought a pomegranate for my fruit salad.
4. I borrowed the first series of Jonathon Creek from the library. Eee! I haven't seen it since it in ages. I remember the first episode. It might have been the first episode I ever saw, even, but the repeats usually only go back to series three.
5. I read the most gorgeous bit of fanfic. No one outside of fandom is really going to understand the appeal of a Yeshiva AU (or even, really, what one is). But it was lovely.
Three things I did well today
1. Offered the handy man a cup of tea when he arrived.
2. Did all the dishes.
3. Did washing and hung it out on the line.
Two things I look forward to doing or doing better tomorrow
1. My internet arrives, or at least part of the equipment I need to access the internet.
2. Washing my hair. I was thinking about getting it all cut off again yesterday, so it definitely needs washing.
Five things about today that made me happy
1. Cooked myself a proper lunch. Okay, so I didn't start cooking til about quarter to two and didn't it until half past three, but I had ham, potatoes, Greek beans and mushroom gravy (with a little white wine in it). The ham was a little dry because I didn't have foil to cover it with to cook it, but it still all turned out very nice. I even put my plate in the oven to warm while the meat was resting! Hee!
2. Made fruit salad. Such fun! I love fruit salad. This one has pomegranate in it, because I did go a little wild at the supermarket yesterday. Also orange, banana, apple, grapes, strawberries, blackberries (I forgot what they were called for a moment) and plums.
3. Internet arrived. I can do proper timed gleeing and check my email at my dining room table.
4. I bought some chocolate puddings from Tesco when I went to buy a bowl to put my salad in. (I thought the bowl would be way too big for the fruit salad, but it isn't. I took a photo, which I hope to post tomorrow to show just how much fruit salad I made.)
5. Watched another episode of Jonathan Creek. I love this show.
